Global Accounts are cross-border collection accounts in Subotiz Accounts that enable merchants to receive funds from overseas customers, platforms, and business partners. Funds are automatically credited to the corresponding currency balance in Subotiz Accounts, where they can be used for foreign exchange, global payouts, and CNY settlement.
Supported Currencies and Collection Scenarios

Note: Available currencies and partner banks are matched automatically based on the merchant's entity type, country or region of registration, and account permissions. Check the application page for the currencies available to your account.

- Revenue from independent websites and subscription businesses
- Settlement funds from major e-commerce platforms
- Settlement funds from third-party payment service providers (PSPs)
- Developer platform payouts and other cross-border receipts that meet regulatory requirements
Fund Flow and Use Cases
- Fund flow: Incoming funds are automatically credited to the corresponding currency balance in Subotiz Accounts. From there, merchants can take any of the following actions based on business needs.

- Convert currencies: Convert the balance to another supported currency.
- Send global payments: Pay overseas suppliers, partners, or service providers directly from the balance.
- Settle funds in CNY: Convert eligible overseas income to CNY and transfer it to a mainland China bank account.

- Receiving payments from overseas customers and revenue from independent websites and subscription businesses
- Receiving settlement funds from e-commerce platforms and payment service providers
- Consolidating and centrally managing income across multiple countries, markets, and currencies

- Executing cross-border internal transfers and flexible fund allocation within an organization
Account Limits and Activation
- Account limits
- Each store can apply for up to five Global Accounts. The actual number available may vary based on entity type, account permissions, or partner bank restrictions. For businesses that need additional accounts, contact an account manager to discuss a customized arrangement.
- Activation methodsComplete the Subotiz Accounts application and pass review before activating a Global Account. The activation path depends on the payment service in use:
- Path A (Merchants using Subotiz Payments): Select the Global Account option during the Subotiz Payments application. The system activates the account automatically upon approval.
- Path B (Merchants using other payment service providers): After Subotiz Accounts approval, log in to the dashboard and apply for the required currency accounts by following the on-screen instructions.
