The Subotiz Sandbox environment allows merchants to complete account registration, payment configuration, and end-to-end payment flow testing without impacting live operations. It supports pre-launch validation, helping verify payment readiness and reduce deployment risk.
Accessing the Sandbox Environment
Complete account registration through the Sandbox login page.
- Open the Sandbox page: Go to https://admin.sandbox.subotiz.com/ in your desktop browser.
- Start registration: Click Sign up to begin.
- Enter account details: Fill in Username, Email, and Password, then click Next.
- Set business information: Provide Business name, Country/Region, and Address details.
- Complete registration: Accept the terms and click Sign up to finish setup.
- Access the dashboard: After registration, you can skip the onboarding step and proceed directly to the Sandbox admin.
Enabling Subotiz Payments
After registration, activate payment capabilities in the Sandbox.
- Open payment providers: Go to Settings > Payment providers > Discover more.
- Select Subotiz Payments: Locate Subotiz Payments and click Apply to complete activation.
- Activate instantly: The system enables test payment channels immediately and adds them to Added providers, making them available for testing.
Configuring Payment Methods
Enable payment methods to start using Subotiz Payments.
- Enable payment methods: Go to Settings > Payment methods, then turn on the toggle for the desired methods (such as Card or Apple Pay).
- Save settings: Click Save to apply the configuration and start testing payment flows.
Subscription Acceleration (Sandbox Only)
In the Sandbox, subscription billing cycles are accelerated to help validate lifecycle events without waiting for real-time intervals.
- Daily subscriptions: ~10 minutes per cycle
- Weekly subscriptions: ~70 minutes per cycle
- Monthly subscriptions: ~310 minutes per cycle
This allows you to quickly test renewals, expirations, and status transitions.
Notes
- Environment isolation: The Sandbox is for testing only. No real transactions or fund settlements occur. Avoid using real card details.
- Consistent workflows: The Sandbox mirrors production flows, allowing full end-to-end validation.
- Activation scope: Payment activation in the Sandbox applies to testing only and does not affect your live environment.
- Pre-launch validation: Complete order placement, payment, and webhook testing before going live.
