Configuring Dunning
- Access Dunning Settings: In your Subotiz Admin, navigate to: Settings > Recovery > Dunning. This page allows you to define the action applied to subscriptions that remain unpaid after a specified number of days.

- Set the Countdown Period: The countdown begins at the first failed renewal charge.For example:
- If set to 13 days, the system applies the configured action on day 13 following the first failed renewal attempt, provided payment has not been recovered.
This timer defines the final subscription outcome and runs alongside Smart Retry.
- Choose the Subscription Action: After the configured number of days has passed without successful payment, the system automatically applies one of the following actions:
- Cancel subscription: The subscription is ended and marked inactive.
- Mark subscription as unpaid: The subscription remains in place, with its status updated to unpaid.
Your selection determines the subscription’s final state after the recovery window.
