The Transactional emails section in Subotiz centralizes all system-generated messages sent to customers, covering subscription events and order updates. From this page, merchants can review email types, track performance, preview templates, and control which notifications are active to ensure consistent branding and timely customer communication.
Accessing the Transactional Emails Page
- Open the Transactional emails section: In the Subotiz admin, go to Emails > Transactional emails. The list displays all automated email types sent by the system.

- Filter by date: Use the date selector in the upper-right corner to filter the Sent, Delivered, and Opened counts within a specific time range. This helps merchants analyze email activity and performance for any selected period.

- Identify email categories: Emails are organized into two groups to clarify their purpose:
- Subscriptions:
- Trial started: Notify customers that their trial is active with trial details.
- Trial ending: Reminds customers 3 days before the trial ends to upgrade to a paid subscription.
- Subscription activated: Confirms that the recurring subscription is now active.
- Subscription renewal: Reminds customers 3 days before the subscription auto-renews.
- Subscription cancelled: Confirms cancellation and outlines post-subscription services.
- Subscription expiring: Reminds customers 3 days before the subscription ends.
- Subscription expired: Notifies customers when the subscription ends and encourages resubscription.
- Subscription change: Notify customers when subscription details are changed.

- Orders:
- Payment succeeded: Sends payment details after a successful one-time or recurring charge.
- Payment failed: Alerts customers when an automatic payment attempt fails.
- Refunded: Notify customers when a refund is issued.

- Enable or disable emails: Use the toggle switch beside each email type to turn it on or off, allowing you to control which notifications are sent to customers.

- Preview email templates: Select Preview to view the content and layout of the email before it is sent.

- Switch between desktop view and mobile view to check how the email displays on different devices.


- Use Send test email to send a copy to your own address for review.


- Check overall email performance: At the top of the page, you’ll see three total counts representing all transactional emails in your store:
- Sent: Total number of emails triggered.
- Delivered: Number of emails successfully delivered to customer inboxes.
- Opened: Number of emails opened by customers.
