The Multi-Platform Management feature in Subotiz is designed for merchants who operate multiple business lines or brands. Merchants can manage multiple independent merchant platforms under one account, without the need for multiple logins. Each platform functions as a standalone business entity with its own products, payment settings, and account data. This structure improves operational efficiency, protects data integrity, and supports flexible business expansion.
Feature Overview
With Multi-Platform Management, merchants can:
- Expand into new business lines: Manage multiple platforms for different products or services under a single account, without repeated logins.
- Manage multiple brands: Run separate product lines on independent platforms, each with its own products, payment settings, and configurations.
- Control access securely: Assign staff only to the platforms they need, without exposing unrelated data.
- Simplify operations: Switch platforms instantly with seamless single sign-on.
Platform Panel Overview
The platform panel in the bottom left corner of the Subotiz admin provides quick access to platform management. From this panel, merchants can:
- View the active platform name and logo for identification. The displayed name and logo come from your business profile settings (see General|Setting Up Business Information).
- Open the account panel to see platform details, user profile, language settings, and logout options.
Viewing Account Details
Click the platform name or logo to expand the account panel. The panel displays:
- Platform name and Merchant ID: Unique identifiers for each platform.
- User profile: Username and login email.
- Language and logout options: Change the admin language or log out.
Switching Between Platforms
Merchants can switch between platforms directly from the account panel.
- Select a platform from the list or search by platform name or Merchant ID.
-
Each platform has a status that determines availability:
- Active: Platform is fully operational with features accessible based on staff permissions.
- Suspended: Restricted access; only billing information can be managed, while other menus are view-only.
- Deactivated: Platform is closed or disabled and cannot be switched into.
Changing the Admin Language
Merchants can change the admin language from the account panel.
- Select Language and choose English or Simplified Chinese.
Best Practices
- Separate brands or product lines: Create individual platforms for each audience or product line to keep operations organized.
- Use clear platform identities: Assign distinct names and logos for quick recognition.
- Review staff access regularly: Ensure employees only have permissions for the platforms they manage.
- Monitor platform status: Track suspended or deactivated platforms to avoid operational gaps.
Multi-Platform Management in Subotiz provides merchants with an efficient way to operate multiple businesses within one account. With independent data, permissions, and platform settings, merchants gain the flexibility to expand across brands and products while maintaining efficiency and control.
